The Florida State Forest Trailwalker Program encourages hikers to explore the diverse landscapes found throughout Florida’s state forests, from pine flatwoods and cypress swamps to coastal habitats and scenic backcountry trails. Managed through the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, the program promotes outdoor recreation, conservation awareness, and responsible trail use while rewarding participants for experiencing the unique natural environments that make Florida’s public lands special.
