The Tracker mobile companion app has been submitted to both stores and is currently in review. Download links will go live shortly.
Platform updates, new features, and trail community news — all in one place.
Tracker by Hikers Challenge — the companion mobile app for the platform — has been submitted to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The app is currently in store review and limited testing. Public download links will go live as soon as approval is complete.
For the past several months, hiking on Hikers Challenge has been a desktop-first experience: record your trip on whatever device you carry, then come home, upload a GPX file, and let the platform match peaks and trails. With Tracker, that loop happens in your pocket. The app records your route in real time, tags peaks and trails as you cross them, and pushes the trip directly to your account when you reconnect — no manual upload step. We'll post here the moment download links are live.
The product continues to grow around three core ideas: recording hikes, completing challenges, and understanding your progress.
Upload your hikes and let the platform automatically identify peaks, trails, and regions from your route.
Follow progress across mountains, trail systems, and custom organization programs with no manual bookkeeping.
See how your hiking changes over time with insight pages for momentum, effort, conditions, and progression.
Follow the product as it grows.
