How are trails matched?

Trails are matched differently than mountains.

Instead of a single point, we:
• Compare your track to trail segments
• Calculate how much of the trail you covered

This means you can see:
• Coverage % (e.g. 89% of a trail)
• Matched distance (how many miles overlapped)

Partial hikes still count — and build toward full completion over time.
